LADIES’* TOURNAMENT
OTOROHANGA WINS BEALE CUP
The Paeroa Ladies’ Hockey Clubheld a tournament on Saturday last on the Paeroa domain to finish off the--195-0 season, many team% competing' for the Beale cup. Clubs represented were Paeroa, Te Aroha, Kerepehi r Maple Leaf (Hamilton), Tainui (Hamilton), Paterangi (Te Awamutu), Old Girls (Te Awamutu) and Otorohanga,
Teams were divided into two sections, Maple Leaf, winning one, whilethree teams finished equal in the other section. They were Paeroa, Te-Awa-mutu and Otorohanga but in the playoff Otorohanga succeeded in defeating the other two teams after good games, Mr C. O’Brien thanked the teams for helping to make the tournament a success, after which Mrs Beale, the donor of the cup, presented the cup and buttons to the winnersi
