MARAMARUA TENNIS
OPENING OF SEASON
VISITORS FROM; OTHER CLUBS
The Maramarua Tennis Club opened its season in perfect weather on September 30. Visitors were present from Mangatawhiri, Mangatangi and Miranda clubs and Mrs T. McLeod served the first ball, after which the president, Mr W. Carmichael, declared the season officially open. Mr McLeod welcomed all the visitors, and then handed them over to- the club captain, Mr R. Hale, who arranged friendly matches for the afternoon. It has' been decided to enter B and C teams for the Franklin Lawn Tennis * Association's matches this season.
