CHILD BREAKS HER ARM

ACCIDENT AT HIKUTAIA An 11-year-old girl, visitor to Hikutaia during the last week-end, had the misfortune to fall from a horse and fracture her upper arm. She was Jacqueline Mclntosh, daughter of Mr and Mrs A. Mclntosh of Mt. Eden, Auckland, who were the guests of Mr and Mrs L. P. Martin of Hikutaia.

The child was attended by Dr S. L. Haslett of Paeroa and sent to the Auckland hospital and it is understood she is now making satisfactory progress.
