SOCIAL NOTES
Miss M. Avery of Hikutaia is a visitor to Palmerston 'North. Mr and Mrs A. Howarth of Hikutaia were visitors to Pokuru, Te Awamutu, during the week-end. Mrs J. White of Morrinsville is the guest of Mrs W. Avery of Hikutaia. Mr and Mrs S. Faucett of Gisborne, and Mrs H. Pollard of Manaia, have (been visiting Mr and Mrs W. Avery of Hikutaia.
Mr and Mrs R. H. Bax of Wharepoa are making a motor tour of a numbe of places in the North Island. Mr and Mrs Shepperd of Hikutaia were visitors to Matamata during the week-end.
Mrs Menzies and Miss N. Menzies of Whangarei have been visitors of Mr and Mrs A. McCollum of Hikutaia.
