HIGHEST BUTTER GRADING
The Ngatea f actory of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company Ltd. (Mr D. B. Dawison, manager) has been awarded the Weddel Cup for butter by the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association.
The cup is for the highest average grading points for all butter graded during the 'period from the period from 'October 1, 1949 to April 30, 1950, both dates inclusive. Ngatea was awarded 94.4 points. The Te Aroha-Thames Co-operative Dairy Company Limited (Mr A. P. Lee, manager), was placed third. Hardley Cup
In judging for the Hardley eup awarded for the highest average grading points in respect of cheese graded during the same period the Kopuarahi factory of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company Limited (Mr A. G. Freer, manager), was placed third with 92.539 points.
