GUN CLUB SHOOT
SPORT AT WHITIANGA G. DALE PROMINENT RESULTS OF COMPETITIONS A small number of shooters spent an enjoyable day at a recent shoot of the Whitianga Gun Club. Results were as follows:— Five bird eye-opener: G. Dale (14 yards), F. Lee (12 yards), five birds each, and divided. Five bird handicap: G. Dale (15 yards), five birds, 1; G. Rivas (12 yards), W. Fielding (14 yards), F. Lee (13 yards), F. Fielding (14 yards) four birds each, divided second and third. Five bird handicap: F. Lee |(l3 yards), F. Fielding (14 yards), G. Dale (15 yards), four birds each, divided; Five bird walk-up: G. Dale, F. Fielding, five birds each, divided. Five bird handicap: G. Dale (17 yards), five birds, 1; F. Fielding (14 yards), F. Lee (13 yards), E. Worden (11 yards), four birds each, divided second and third. Five bird gymcrack: F. Fielding, G. Dale five birds each, divided. » 10 bird handicap: F. Lee (13 yards), nine birds, 1; G. Dale (19 yards), 8 birds, 2; W. Fielding (14 yards), F. Fielding (14 yards), 7 birds, 3. Double rise: Three pair, F. Lee five birds, 1; W. Fielding, three birds, 2. Quail drive five birds: G. Dale four birds, 1.
