ANNUAL MEETING
PAEROA DRAMATIC CLUB OFFICERS FOR YEAR ELECTED The Paeroa Dramatic Club held its annual meeting recently and the following officers were elected for the ensuing year:— President, Mr. H. R. Thorp; vicepresident, Mr R. I. W. McKenzie; press correspondent, Mrs H. P. Wylde; committee, Mesdames K. Beale, R, I. W. McKenzie, Messrs S. Julian, R. A. Shearer and P. Mann.
It was resolved that the club should do its utmost during the season to further the efforts of the Paeroa and District War Memorial Appeal. It -was decided to open the season in April next with a three-act play, “ Quiet Week-end,” now in production.
