A GREAT SUCCESS
SANTA CLAUS IN PAEROA APPROVED BY PARENTS The Santa Claus at Christmas as organised by the Paeroa Chamber of Commerce was a great success, said Mr E. W. Lee at the February meeting of the chamber. A great job had been done by Mr G. E. Button, said Mr Lee, and mem* bers endorsed what was said by Mr Lee. Very favourable comment had been made by parents, who brought their children to Paeroa on the Friday prior to Christmas eve. A resolution was carried that Mr Button be thanked for the excellent way in which he had conducted the Santa Claus visit to Paeroa and that Mr G. N. Dent be also thanked for the use of his vehicle. *
