At the Wednesday evening meeting of the Paeroa Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club, Miss JB. Mitchell of Tirohia who recently broke the Waikato ladies high jump tecord by clearing the bar at 4 feet 8 inches, bettered that performance by clearing the bar at 4 feet 91 inches being 2| inches above the Waikato record of 4ft. 7in.
