MOST URGENT WORK.

ON HAURAKI PLAINS COMMITTEE INCREASED “Owing to the fact that the most urgent major works to be performed are on the Hauraki Plains, I think it is expedient that there should be a representative from the Hauraki ■Plains on the works committee. I would recommend, therefore, that the works committee be increased by one member, that extra member being a representative of the Hauraki Plains,” stated the chairman, Mr H. M. Corbett, at the March mooting of the Hauraki Catchment Board.

The meeting decided to elect Mr D. G. Millan to the works committee of the board.
