LAMBING PERCENTAGES FIGURES FOR THAMES VALLEY The Auckland land district generally lags behind the rest of New Zealand when it comes to lambing but this season the estimate for the area is 96.38 per cent. A mild winter, the flush growth of last Rutumn, and a plentiful supply of lactating feed during the lambing period are contributing factors to this creditable record. The number of breeding eyes is given at 3,311,346 and the estimated number of lambs is 3,191,346. The Auckland land district includes North Auckland, ' South Auckland, Waikato, part of the King Country and Rotorua, and last year the percentage was 90.18 for 3.268,027 •breeding ewes. Following are the figures for the .counties in the Thames valley: Coromandel, 31,583 ewes, 90.30 per cent.
