NEW REGULATIONS

ADOPTED BY PAEROA BOROUGH

Whether the Paeroa Borough Council desired the Dangerous Goods Regulations to be made applicable to the borough by Order-in-Council or whether it proposed to make bylaws under the council’s general powers was the question asked at the February meeting of the council by a letter from the chief inspector of explosives, Wellington The town clerk, Mr. M. C. Baker, stated that in the past the council had adopted the regulations by Order-in-Couacil and he thought it would be advisable to adopt the new regulations in the same manner.

The council decided to adopt the new regulations by way of Order-m-CouneiL
