WAIKINO MEMORIAL APPROVAL OF THE PLANS The plan for the Waikino war memorial had been revised and a copy of the revised plan was placed before the August meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council for its approval?
The estimated cost not including labour and re-using Material from the present building was £l9OO.
“I think the council should help them,” said the chairman, Mr £ A. Barrett. Barrett.
A resolution was passed that the council assist the settlers in their proposal.
