Catchment Board Work
Ten applications had been received for work to be carried out by the catchment board, stated the chief engineer, Mr G. Davies, in his report to the March meeting of the Hauraki Catchment Board. The work asked for had been roughly estimated to cost £13,000. It was proposed to let Mr R. D. Young, the new assistant engineer, attend to the most urgent of them for the first few months of his service to the board.
