WILL BE MISSED

MRS W. H. HEALD FAREWELLED

BROWNIES AND GIRL GUIDES

Following the recent enrolment of Brownies and Girl Guide Association Committee members at Whitianga, the opportunity was taken to bid farewell to Mrs W. H. Heald, who is leaving the district. In presenting the gift of a pyrex dish on behalf of the Guides, Brownies and local association, Miss Robinson mentioned that Mrs Heald had been a member of the committee for years and that only one member had served longer on the committee. Miss Robinson mentioned how greatly Mrs Heald would be missed and wished her every happiness in her new home. Briefly, Mrs Heald thanked those present for their gift and good wishes. She said she had been very happy in her association with the Guide movement and wished the local association continued success in the future.
