TENT PEG PIERCES LEG ACCIDENT AT KOMATA PICNIC An accident occurred at the Paeroa District High School’s annual picnic at Komata yesterday when Neville Henderson, aged eight years, son of Mr and Mrs T. Henderson of Paeroa, tripped over a wire and a tent peg pierced the calf of his right leg. The peg was removed by Mrs G. Pringle before Neville was taken to Dr. S. L. Haslett for treatment.
