NEVILLE CARLSEN REVUE A TALENTED COMEANY SUITABLE FOR WHOLE FAMILY Neville Carlsen’s Revue Company is to appear in Paeroa on Thursday, October 2. The company will come heralded with a great reputation for years of community service. and the excellence of the productions In which they specialise. Each member is credited with being a master of his particular line and the whole presentation will be submitted in a manner in keeping with the long stage experience of the producer, Neville Carlsen himself. There will be comedy—good, wholesome, witty and clean humour —skilfully interspersed with really clever, tap and ballet dancing (a complete ballet), magic, juggling,
performing dogs, daring trick cyclists, hand balancers, novelties, scenas, cute,, snappy sketches, tuneful singing and piano accordions. There will be all that it takes to make an excellently presented up-to-date; variety programme—the right amount of everything and an overdose of nothing —variety will be the keynote. Everyone will want to see this combination of talented, fresh and zealous performers who have earned a great reputation, from packed houses everywhere, for really bright, fast-moving, varied and wholesome entertainment, and, since other bookings allow of one night only in Paeroa, early reservations are recommended through the box office at the Regent Theatre, Paeroa, where plans are now open., It should be emphasised that nothing of an objectionable nature is permitted to creep into a Neville Carlsen show and you can safely bring the children (the whole family) without fear of embarrassment to enjoy a bright, snappy, quick-changing variety programme which will prove a welcome change and send you home with a smile on your lips, a song iu your heart, happy memories and a knowledge of the kind of entertainment the general public, homes 1 , orphanages, ‘hospitals and similar institutions have been enjoying regularly over the past 26 years. And of course the military camps and military. hospitals—a task which the company always appreciates as a privilege.
Applied altruism has always been the aim of members of Neville Carlsen’s Revue • Company and with this object they will appear at the Regent Theatre. All lovers of “ flesh and blood ” stage shows will be able to respond to the extent of substantially augmenting the funds of the company’s social work.
