ANNUAL MEETING
OHINEMURI JOCKEY CLUB ' r-’ RESULT OF THE ELECTION There was a good: attendance of members at the annual meeting of the Ohinemuri Jockey Club held in the Civic Hall, Paeroa, on Saturday night. The president, Mr H. Dent, was in .the chair. ‘ . The annual report (published in full in Monday’s issue) and the balance sheet disclosed that the club had experienced a successful year and that the finances were in a particularly sound position. The president outlined the work at present being done on the course and the work to be carried put in the future. He assured the meeting that the committee fully appreciated che need for increased facilities for the general public and these would be attended to as soon as conditions made it possible. « Messrs H- x Dent and G. P. Lamb were re-elected unopposed to the offices of president and vice-president respectively. The voting for the five vacancies ( on the committee resulted:— Successful H. Evans 201 F. T.
