ACCESS TO DOMAIN

REQUEST FROM COROMANDEL LETTER TO COUNTY COUNCIL A request that the road access to the Coromandel Domain be improved was received at the November meeting of the Coromandel County Council. The Domain Board wrote pointing out that the access from Woollam’s street could be improved by easing the corner past the bowling green property. They pointed out the danger to pedestrians and the rough surface of the road. The matter was left in the hands of the chairman, Mr E. E. Deeble, for him to meet the president of the Coromandel Bowling Club to see what could be done to effect improvements.
