ANNUAL MEETING OF CLUB AWARDS FOR .COMPETITIOiNS The 37th annual meeting of the Coromandel Bowling Club was held in the club pavilion on Friday, July 12. There was a good attendance and nine new members were elected during the evening. The financial position of the club is in a healthy state, and a successful season sedms assured. x Officers elected for the coming year were: President, M*r F. R. Holtom; vice-presidents, Messrs W. J. D'enize. W. J. Gamble, H. V. Denize and R. A. McNeil; honorary secretary, ‘Mr T. M. Lillis; honorary treasurer, Mr P. Beveridge; honorary auditor, Mr M. A. Brook; general committee, Messrs P. ‘S. Horne, D. Strongman, K. B. McRae and L. Wilson; social committee, the president and secretary and Messrs H. V. Denize and D. Strongman; delegate to Auckland Bowling Centre, Mr T. Sparling; green superintendent, Mr P. S. Horne.

The acting president, Mr T. M. Lillis, presented the trophies to the winners of the competitions held during past season as follows: —Singles championship. Mr P. IS. Horne; junior singles championship and Jolly Cup, Mr W. J. Gamble; pairs’ championship, Messrs G. W. Hovell and W'. J. Denize.
