SOCIAL NOTES
Miss Gay Hinton has returned to Auckland after spending the week-end at the home of her parents-, Mr and Mrs C. Hinton, of Waitakaruru. Mrs R. L, Davies- of Willoughby street, Paeroa, is visiting Kawhia. Miss Joyce Coxhead has returned, to the Auckland Teachers’ Training College after spending the week-end with her. parents, ..Mr and Mrs A. Coxhead, of Waitakafuru. £ H. Jamiesion and family of Te Teko have been visiting Mrs C. Hopping of Hikutaia. Mrs N. Spiers of Thames spent the week-end with her parents, Mr and Mrs G. M'oGregor, of Hikutaia. Mrs F. IBown of Hikutaia was a visitor to Auckland during the weekend.
Miss iG. Cangi, of Bari, fiancee of D'vr. E. D. Ryan, of Kopuarahi, arrived on the Moreton Bay recently. Dvr. Ryan met his fiancee when serving in Italy with the transport section of operations. He returned, in March, some time later than the rest of his draft, after four years’ service overseas.
