CRUSHER WANTED

LETTER TO COUNCIL NOT AVAILABLE AT PRESENT The undermentioned letter from the War Assets Realisation Board, Wellington, regarding a stone crusher, was received by the Ohinemuri County Council at its May meeting: “It is regretted that no equipment of the type specified is available at the moment but your application has been registered against future possible disposals,” stated the letter. The chairman, Cr. T. A. Barrett, was of the qpinion that as an advertisement had appeared in a newspaper in regard to stone-crushers the matter should be fonowed up and further representations be made to the board. This was seconded by Cr. G. A. Avery and carried.
