GIRL GUIDES’ ASSOCIATION OFFICERS FOR YEAR ELECTED The annual meeting .of the Coromandel Girl Guides’ Association was held in the Methodist’Hall, the District Commissioner Mrs K. Harrison, presiding in the absence of the president Miss G. Russell. The attendance was rather small' owingy tq .thg very wet afternoon. The secretary,. Mrs Ward read a brief report on' the year’s activities and the company. Lt. D. Inglis also read a report on the work of the company during the' year. Both- reports were received. ■ Mrs Harrison stressed the importance of holding regular meetings of the committee.
