MORE WASPS FOUND

LARGE NEST REMOVED IBIG INCREASE IN NUMBERS The wasps which in recent months have been noticed in ever increasing numbers in the Thames Valley are now being found frequently in various parts of the district. A nest discovered in the Paeroa borough was dug out by Mr T. J. L. Broadley recently and brought into the Gazette office for inspection. The nest was the biggest discovered in the district to date. These wasps are a definite menace to the bees established in the district states Mr Broadley who has offered to remove any nest that is discovered by residents of the town or district.
