PAEROA-POKENO RAILWAY ONE OF FIRST TO BE STARTED Replying at the last meeting of the Paeroa Chamber of Commerce to a suggestion that the Minister should be written to asking that the PaeroaPokeno railway link should be completed, the Mayor Mr Edwin Edwards, advised that the borough had received a recent communication from the Works Department and this work was one of the first which would be started as soon as materials are available.
