THAMES BEAT NGATEA ANNUAL MATCH PLAYED WIN BY MARGIN OF 149 RUNS The annual cricket match between the Ngatea and Thames: High Schools was played at Thames recently, resulting in a win for Thames. Batting first, Ngatea succeeded 1 in making only 31 before being put out. Thames made 179, largely, due to the hitting of Kipa, who compiled 87. Riley, after making 27, was unlucky in being run out after hitting a ball to square leg. O’Leary, in making 32, completed the trio of Thames high-s'corers.
