HIGH SCHOOL CRICKET MATCH WITH WAIHI VICTORY ON FIRST INNINGS The Paeroa District High School visited Waihi District High School to play a friendly cricket match recently. ■Paeroa won the toss and fielded first innings. Snappy fielding l and accurate bowling on the part of Paeroa saw Waihi dismissed in forty minutes for seventeen runs.

iPaeroa. opening batsmen were dismissed rather cheaply, three wickets falling for five runs. The rest of the batsmen playing cautiously compiled a steady score.
