Miss Joyce Cocks, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs W. Eric Cocks of Ngatea, has been accepted for the Auckland Teachers’ Training College. Mrs A. Hobbs-Bolton, of Napier, is visiting her daughter, Mrs D. Brady, of Puriri, having just returned from a holiday in the South Island, when she was accompanied by Miss Josie Brady. Mrs Hobbs'-Bolton’s husband, the late 1 Lieut.-Colonel S. J. Bolton, 0.8. E., 'was formerly postmaster at Dannevirke.
