CARD EVENING

MARAMARUA SOCIAL CLUB AN ENJOYABLE FUNCTION _ J The Maramarua Social Club Held its usual fortnightly, card evening in the Pioneer Tea Rooms. There was a good l attendance and supper was served by committee members. Mrs E. Hale was the winner of the ladies’ prize with Miss E. Freeborn as runner-up. The men’s prize was won 'by Mr J. 'Ratahi with Mr T. Clark as runner-up. The lucky number was won by Miss G. Maxwell. Among those present were:— Mesdames Hale, Hodder, Neil, Harris, Loft, Hoddier, Kelly. Misses D. Beaney, G. Maxwell, J. Freeborn, iE. Freeborn, D. Freeborn. Messrs Hale, Neil, Jolley, R. Heaven, G. Maxwell, T. Clark, R. Harris, F. Freeborn, R. Findlay, L. Corner, Kelly, Ratahi, J. Toma, Ramanui, Pihama.
