Free Of Tags At the September meeting of the Hauraki Plains County Council’, the clerk, Mr E. A. Mahoney, was congratulated on having his balance sheet returned from the Audit Department free of tags. Complimentary reference to the clerk’s ability were made by councillors. Maori Youth Club A youth club which has been established at Waitakaruru by the Maori residents continues to flourish. The object of this is to provide recreation for the young people, and fund's are being raised by a series of dances to purchase sports gear. Already a table tennis outfit is in popular use, and thanks are due to the organisers of this club.
