PROPOSED BOWLING GREEN
(To the Editor.) Sir, —.We read with much disgust the rejection of the petition put forward by 441' citizens of Paeroa against the proposed site for the new bowling green. The bowlers are already provided for in having their own green, whereas the basketball girls have had no encouragement from the public in the setting up of a basketball court. It is time Paeroa woke up and catered for the younger generation as •much as the old fogies. Four Disgusted Basketballers.
