TYRE RETREADS

FARMERS WANT “A” GRADE

ROUGH ROADS IN THE' COUNTRY

That farmers’ cars should have “A” grade retreads in preference to those of other persons was a proposal placed before the Thames District

Council of Primary Production, by Mr G. ICoxhead. It was more important to. have the best retreads on country roads, which were often rough, than in town areas, where the roads were mostly sealed, he said.

As a resolution, seconded by Mr W. H. Oh-eale, this suggestion was unanimously carried.
