129,861 WILLS NOW HELD
Estates to the value of £598,577 were reported and: accepted; for administration by the .'Public Trustee during the month of May, 1945. The total value of estates- and 1 funds under administration by the Public Trustee on March 31, 1945, wa5£67,867,0-66, £67,867,0-66, and -the new business for the -two -months ended May 31, was £1,111,438.
Grants of administration made by the Court in favour of the Public Trustee numbered 2-42 for the month.
During the month 602- new wills appointing the Public Trustee executor were prepared on behalf of testators and lodged for -safe custody and 474 existing' wills were revised to provide for changes- desired by testators. The total number of wills now held in the Public Trust Office on behalf of living persons is 12-9,8-61.
