WOMEN’S DIVISION

MEETING AT COROMANDEL thanks from children The Coromandel branch of the ■Women’s Division of the Farmers Union held its monthly meeting on Saturday, December 2, 'Mrs Anderson presiding over a small attendance of members. . A letter -was read from several Animia School children saying that the prizes won by them at the flower show had been presented to them by their teacher. They thanked the division for their interest in the Ahimia School children’s work. (Owing to the December meeting falling in the holiday period it was decided not to hold it and the next meeting will be on the fourth Saturday in January. The competition was won by Mrs E. Brown. After the meeting was closed 1 witn the singing of the National Anthem, afternoon tea was served and a happy chat was enjoyed over the teacups.
