MUSICAL AFTERNOON

FUNCTION HELD AT TURUA MRS A. HARRISON’S PUPILS A musical afternoon was held at Turua on Saturday last by Mrs A. Harrison, L.T.C.L., and pupils. Pianoforte solos and duets were rendered by Kathleen and Colleen Green, Sylvia and Cedric Painter, Betty Jepson, Kathleen Handley, Shirley Workman, Betty and Norman Nicholson, Colleen Thrupp, Mrs -P. Henry L.R.S.M., and Mrs Harrison. Two songs by Mrs E. A. Clark were very much enjoyed. The programme concluded with afternoon tea and a .presentation to Mrs Harrison by Shirley Workman on behalf of the Turua pupils.
