WAR MUSEUM

SUGGESTION FOR WELLINGTON 1 RECORDS OF LAST TWO WARS The establishment of a War Museum in Wellington.to house the records of the 1914-18 and the present wars is suggested by the committee of management . of the National Art Gallery. “There is,’.’ states the committee, “a large quantity of material from the last war —works of official artists, records, and materials —and these have been greatly added to since the lyeginning of the present war. They belong to a special category, many of them being of historic rather than aesthetic value, and it will be necessary to house them properly in some special building where they can be available to the public.
