PIPIROA DOMAIN BOARD

IMPROVEMENT WORK PROPOSED

A request for a grant or a subsidy to meet the cost of improvements to the Pipiroa domain was received from the secretary of the' Pipiroa Domain Board, Mr E. C. Marshall, at the December meeting of the .Hauraki Plains County Council.

At pres.ent the board was installing a culvert at the entrance to the domain, fencing and- installing a' water trough. This work was estimated to cost £2B. . Metal was also required at the entrance over* the culvert, stated the secretary in his letter.

•It was pointed .out that the council had not provided for any finance for such work this year but the matter would be considered when next year’s estimates were -being discussed.
