HEAVY YARDING
PIG SALE HELD IN PAEROA ALL CLASSES IN DEMAND The New Zealand Loan and cantile Agency Ltd., report that at their fortnightly ipig sale at Paeroa on Monday there was a very heavy, yarding with all classes of fat and store pigs selling well, particularly heavy- • weight porkers and light baconers which were keenly sought after by buttermilk buyers. The advertised pedigree Canadian Berkshire (boar offered by Mr H. E. Hill changed hands to Mr A. Moyer for 102 gns. Quotations: — Choppers made from £3 to £7; baconers, heavy from £5 to £5 ss, medium '£4 14s to £4 18s, light £4? 5s to £4 12s; porkers, heavy from £3' 15s to £4,45, medium £3 'ss to £3 12s, light £2 15s to £3 '3s; stores, large from £2 to £3 ss; slips from 35s to 455;. weaners, good from 25 s to 325, others 20 s to 255; sows close to profit from £3 to £9 15s; sows with litters, £3 to £6; boars from 1 gn. to 101 gns.
