ROLLS DOWN 450 FT. BANK
DRIVER DIES IN HOSPJTAL
ACCIDENT NEAR COROMANDEL
The death occurred at the Thames ■Hospital at 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoon of Mr William Reginald Hamilton, bush contractor of Coromandel.
Last Monday Mr Hamilton when driving a car in the Tokatea range went with the vehicle over the edge of a bush track, the car rolling down a slope of 450 feet. He was seriously injured, suffering broken ribs, a fractured skull, a broken collarbone and abdominal injuries. ■
Mr Hamilton was associated with Messrs Odlin and Co. for about seven years and latterly with Messrs Zambucka. He has resided in and about Cbromandel for the past eight years. The funeral took place in Auckland ■on Tuesday.
It is understood that Mr Eric Vauce, who was- in the car is -still in hospital at Coromandel. His condition is improving slowly.
