Proposed Visit To Coromandel A letter was received at the November meeting of the Coromandel County Council from the secretary of the Sodney Sea Scouts asking permission to use the cookhouse at Long Bay for a period'about 'December 28. As the time clashed with the holiday period, permission was -granted, but at a later date.
Consulting Engineer Engaged At the November meeting of the Coromandel County Council, it was proposed 'by the chairman, Mr E. Deebk, and seconded by Cr. H. C. Bull that Mr Andrew Murray be engaged to prepare the preliminary estimates in connection with No. 3 bridge on No. 309' Main Highway, Twin Bridges on No. 485 Main Highway, Furey’s Bridge on No. '530 ; Main Highway, Julia’s and No. 3 on the No. 600 Main Highway..—Carried.
