ACCIDENT IN MILL

ONE FINGER AMPUTATED MERCURY BAY RESIDENT While working on the saw in Mercury Bay, at a timber mill, a worker had the misfortune to cut his hand badly. He was taken to Thames Hospital, where it was found necessary to hav t. the first joint of one finger amputated.

The patient is progressing well but had to remain a week there.
