FULL YARDING AT KOPU PIGS AGAIN SELL READILY Messrs Dalgety and Co., report that at their Kopu sale held last Tuesday there was a full yarding of cattle and pigs which all met with a keen enquiry.

Good cows close to profit sold to £ll 10s, but backward sorts were not wanted. A good yarding of yearling heifers met a steady demand, medium sorts selling at £6. Empty two-year heifers realised to £5 9s. A pen of forward condition 3-year bullocks met a keen' demand and sold at £l2 9s.

Bacon, store and weaner pigs again sold readily and practically a total clearance was effected, bacon pigs selling to £5 whilst buttermilk pigs realised to £3 14s; weaners were again in very keen demand, best selling to £2 6s.

Beef sold at very firm rates, medium well-finished cows realising £9 to £lO.

Dairy cows, good, c.t.p,. £lO to £ll 10s; do., more backward, £9 to £9 10s.

Beef.—Medium well finished, £9 to £10; lighter, £7 10s to £8 12s 6d; plainer, £6 to £6 15s: unfinished, £5 5s to £5 15s; boner, £3 10s to £4 17s according to weight; yearling heifers (mixed colours), £0; empty 2-year heifers, £5 to £5 9s; forward 3-year bullocks, £l2 9s.
