COROMANDEL WOMEN MEET
COT TO BE PURCHASED
On Monday, October 30, representatives of various women’s organisations in 'Coromandel met to discuss what could be done to assist Mr and Mrs Harrison in some tangible form, with their three baby girls. After a discussion it was decided to purchase a cot with all its equipments. Those present representing the organisations were:—Mrs Deeble, wife of county chairman; Mrs Peachey, Church of England Guild; Mrs W. Evans, Presbyterion Guild; Mrs Aker, Methodist Guild; Miss Mitchell, Lady Galway Guild; Mrs Anderson, W.D.F.U.; Mrs E. Turner, Women’s Institute (in place of Mrs D. Strongman); Mrs French, W.S.R.S.A.; Mrs Murphy, Women's Auxiliary; Mrs McKenzie, Plunket Society.
