“ Repairs to the Waihou river crossing pipe line amounted to £234 19s 2d. The last time I was in Auckland, the .manager of the Hume Pipe Companyadvised me that this amount would be paid by his company as soon as I made claim for it and accordingly an account has been submitted,” reported the county clerk, Mr E. A. Mahoney to the October meeting of the Hau-, raki Plains County Council.
