PATRIOTIC AFFAIRS
MEETING AT KEREPEEHI DONATIONS ACKNOWLEDGED The Kerepeehi Patriotic committee held a meeting at the Kerepeehi Hall on September 2. The president, Mrs A. L. Fisher, presided. Letters ~of thanks were received from Pte. Tipping, Middle East, for a parcel received. The Kerepeehi Sports and Racing Club wrote thanking the ladies who assisted at the sports held at Paeroa on Easter Monday. A public meeting was arranged to discuss the financial position of the 1943 Patriotic Appeal. It was reported that further donations had been received as under:—
