IN TAURANGA
MR D. A. HILL’S CAMPAIGN
BACKERS FEEL CONFIDENT
The Labour candidate for Tauranga, Mr Dudley A. Hill, of Paeroa, is conducting a strenuous campaign in his electorate. He has already conducted 27 meetings in under three weeks, and
op every occasion has been given a courteous and attentive heai’ing, xreports his organising secretary. Farmers in the district quickly realised that in Mr Hili they had a candidate who understands their problems, both through personal farming experience and through eight years* service with the South Auckland Land ■Board, added the organiser. •Mr Hill has been through the Matamata, Tauranga and Te 'Puke districts and is now making for Edgecumbe. Unfortunately shortage of time prevents him from returning to each district. There have been requests from all over the electorate for him to go back. With the election only a week away Mr Hill’s backers feel confident of success.
