MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE ARRANGEMENTS FOR SATURDAY A meeting of the Management Committee of the Paeroa Rugby Union was held in the Gazette Office on Monday evening, Mr W. F. F. Faber presiding. Others present were Messrs A. Crosby, K. Ryall, R. L. Darley and the secretary, Mr H. McGregor. An apology for absence was received from Mr D. G. McMillan. Accounts totalling £2O 19s 2id were passed for payment. Arrangements were finalised for the representative game to be played at Paeroa on Saturday commencing at 3 p.m. between Paeroa and Waihi for the Johnson Cup. The following officials were appointed:—Manager, Mr D. G. McMillan; gate, Messrs H. McGregor, C. Pascoe and G. Masters. TEAM FOR SATURDAY CHALLENGE FROM WAIHI The following team will represent the Paeroa Rugby Union in a challenge match with Waihi at Paeroa on Saturday:— Fullback.—C. Speechlay. Three-quarters.—G.~ Douglas, W. Shilton, A. Crosby. Five-eighths.—K. Ryall, R. Baker, Half-back.—F. Chaney. Forwards.— J. Murphy, R. Pearson, G. Smith, W. Strong, R. Neil, N. Vinnicombe, J. Jamieson, W. Niven. Emergencies.—Forwards: N. Hansen, R. Jessen. Backs: G. Fraser, D. Prout. Any player not available is requested to notify one of the selectors immediately.
