RAGWORT ON ALL FARM LANDS OPINION IN COROMANDEL Advice that. a conference of all local authorities in the South Auckland area would be held in Hamilton on June 23 when the question of ragwort control will be discussed was received at the June meeting of the Coromandel County Council. During a discussion regarding this matter it was stressed that ragwort must not be pulled unless it was in flower also that it does not flower at all the first year and dies in the third year.

Cr. E. M. Minifie, the council’s representative to the conference was informed that the council views ragwort control as a national obligation.
