PLEASANT EVENING

FUNCTION AT KEREPEEHI TWO SOLDIERS ENTERTAINED -A very pleasant evening was held at the residence of Mrs E. R. Stansell, Kerepeehi, in honour of Privates G. Crisp and R. Chick. Community singing was enjoyed by all present. Mrs G. Crisp supplied the music, which was greatly appreciated. Among those present were: — Mesdames E. Stansell, F. Chick, W. •Chick, G. Crisp, P. Pearce, W. Kidd. Misses J. Shilton, R. Booth, N. Taylor.

A dainty supper was served and a most enjoyable evening was brought to a close at an early hour.
