OVER £20 RAISED
DANCE HELD AT NGATEA SUCCESSFUL EVENING PATRIOTIC FUNDS AIDED Patriotic funds at Ngatea will benefit to the extent of over £2o' as a result of the dance held in the Ngatea Public Hall, Wednesday night. Every effort had been made by the Patriotic Committee to cater for the enjoyment of those attending, and music supplied by Bert Kerby’s Collegians from Thames, was particularly pleasing, as proved by the consistent demand for encores.
Two extras were provided by Miss D. Stitchbury and Miss P. Johnson.
Winners of the Monte Carlo waltz competition were Miss Chris Comer and Mr P. Jelich, and Miss A. Fisher and Mr J. Prendeville. Mr E. R. Sherlock was M.C.
